Hilton McConnico was a self-taught American creator who moved from Memphis to Paris in the 1960s and built a career across fashion, cinema, scenography, interiors and object design.
His work is remembered for saturated colour, theatrical compositions and a sense of quiet storytelling. Every project felt like a frame from an imaginary film.
